Like most designers, I like to make stuff that is awesome. I like to make people say WOW! This doesn't just apply to what I do in advertising and design, but in all aspects of life. (ie. cooking, decorating, crafting, etc.)
Currently I am working as an art director for OUTFRONT Studios, in their Nashville office. That's billboards people, but not exclusively. OUTFRONT is a premier OOH (out of home) leader in the US. I was lucky enough to find my creative niche in the OOH industry during my first job after graduating college. After working in the industry for a couple years, and then taking a little hiatus to do some contract work,
I found myself right back in the mix of OOH. What can I say? I drank the kool-aid.
Another huge passion of mine, is using my skills as a designer to help non-profit organizations. I work with a variety of organizations, in multiple states, because I want all of them to have great design, even though they can't afford a fancy smancy agency to do their work. Their causes are the ones that matter in life, and in order to get their message out there, they need to have great marketing.
When I'm not designing billboards, non-profit campaigns, and other various FREE projects I do for all my friends and family; I enjoy crafting, traveling to see family and friends, reading, binge watching anything on netflix, and volunteer with my community group at the Dream Center in West Nashville, where we get to hang out with the awesome underprivileged youth in our community.
